Why write a blog?

I have no idea why i’m doing this. Boredom is one reason, but i’m more inclined to hanker about the recent events that have shaped this day and the previous days as it affects the lives of the people around me…nope, i was just kidding…wasn’t going to write about that…but here’s what i have to say though: start writing something everyday and you’ll be surprised just how many thoughts can come out of you in a day…

Like, for instance, how my beloved Phoenix Suns shoved something up the butts of the whiney (read: dirty) San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Western Conference semi-finals. Now if they can only shove another thing up those pesky Spurs’ asses (can i say that?) in Game 5, you bet am rooting my Suns will be in the NBA Finals come June.

Oh, before i forget, this blog is also about being a W.I.S. nut…you know, a Watch Idiot Savant, which i am and is bordering on OCD status. But I have to admit am just a novice what with my meager collection of just nine Seiko vintage watches, all autos and all spanning the years 1970-80, but hey, who says you can’t improve on that number (here’s to having my tenth Seiko by next week).

I take back what I said about being just a W.I.S. Been pounding the pavement day in and day out (running, that is) so expect more tidbits about me, my Nike + iPod sports kit, and my NikePlus challenges and whatever there is to say about….running…
