Podcast your runs

The first time I listened in to a podcast was when I inadvertently downloaded one via iTunes thinking it was that snappy melody from Lily Allen. “The Pain Cure” turned out to be a podcast from an imminent pain doctor whose name would rhyme with Anandchevarsky. And so, for thirty minutes, I had to listen to his monologue while dodging dog shit, wet grass and potholes galore at my usual morning route. Inexplicably, I enjoyed the litany of pain issues, pain symptoms and pain remedies that were the gist of his podcast. He even had this section on pains diagnosed by him on runners and it was actually quite enlightening, though I couldn’t understand for the life of me that accent of his. But it was good, and informative, to say the least.
So now, I’m hooked. I plan to set my iTunes tonight to download the latest set of podcasts and then sync it with my iPhone and take the high road to running further than just listening over and over again the same playlists ad infinitum.
Actually, I heard they have a podcast by Jenna Jameson which I am frantically looking for now. Now that would be quite a run!
How about you? Do you listen to podcasts also?
