Bored to the max
What happens when it sets in? Play it by ear, hike your feet up, and revel in the idleness.

Mondays are forebears of what to expect for the week, so when you are bored on Mondays, expect to be bored the rest of the week. My goal is to rack up the boredom meter by Friday and then splurge on ennui during the weekend. That would mean more naps, more goofing in front of the sofa, and more loafing abandon. I don’t expect to eat much since I can’t even handle the skillet with one hand so take-out and delivery is always an option. Hence, the random fasting.
I think Garfield proudly proclaimed his state of idleness as a “blessing.”
“I get to do more than moving around,” he mused. “Just think how many muscles are needed to loaf around, loll in bed and purr in sleep? Wait, who gives a shit?“
My sentiments, exactly.
