While we’re still here, obviously

Read any of James Patterson’s Maximum Ride series of books.  I’m presently neck-deep into Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports, which is Part Three of Patterson’s Maximum Ride serial.  I’ve actually finished reading his The Dangerous Lives of Daniel X, and whoa! I never knew he could write these ones outside of his Alex Cross characterizations.

This is one part of Patterson I’m beginning to understand now.  He writes as good as he story-tells.  Of course, that’s what his writing is all about.  I can read his works anytime and anywhere, and now that we’ve been spared from Armageddon since, well, since the Large Hadron Collider had been switched on, I think I can very well relate to his brand of fantasy writing.

I plan to get his other MR book on the shelf, The Final Warning, as an ode to the LHC’s next planned experimentation.  I don’t bother, of course, with its effects to humankind and the Earth now that I know that mutant bird kids and kids with exceptionally superhuman powers can be a reality just as the LHC can be pure fantasy bull-shit, after all.

So when is the next End of the World?

Probably, at this very hour, some blackhole has just been opened and the stupid lackeys of the world are slowly being sucked in.

Oh, and yeah, reality just kicked in, coz I’m back to scoring my previous world-wide audience, which is practically, zilch.  Well, how’s fifty-three souls reading this blog so far?
